Tyranny of Time – a poem

Tales of the ordinary do tire the watchful mind,

Ever enervated by the stacks of talk boiled down

Into dry moments, static examples elucidated

Into the drama that drolly clings to the self,

Skills parroted left aside as skills unlearned.
