Winter Theme – a poem

Long do the themes of winter stay
After we think them many days gone
Already, consigned to memory and trails
Left after days in which we bathed limbs
Made golden by that fusion faraway glow.
*
We hope that it will be over soon, frost
Creeping over the water surfaces and
Leaking across windowed glass at night,
Slow horror in the night frozen realms
While we dream, awake in our beds for

Storms.
