Star Bright – a poem

Shine, shine, that brilliance at beginning

So bright to behold, shining star stealing

Light from all others nearby, swollen

With fusion sparks, let down only

By the losses incurred to dull that blaze.

To learn new ways of being when dimmed,

The adjustment of paradigm and power

Distribution oft difficult to aim for when

In the midst of living with such slowdown,

Surrounded by the boundless screens hung in void.

Brilliance means less than nothing without

The determination to see it through, to bring

Forth results from a mere shine, dulled

By existence and existential troubles, line

Held to bridge gaps, regain many losses.
