Absent Heart – a poem

Fondness kindled by the dank cold crunch

Ringing about the frozen roofs and boughs

As flurries fall and foreign winds sigh forth

In our land; the warmth is madly missed.

The heart reaches out further in absence

To feel again that kindled tinder aflame

In our swirling dance, laden with cadence,

The flow of nuance and dreams; love.
