Sulphurous Flashbacks – a poem

Sulphurous flashbacks brought round

From sleep’s lack in familiar places,

Where it was once so sordid, now

Not a thing to be abhorred, nor

Disdained for the memory only lives,

The inclination and drive to open

Pandora’s Box superceded by more

Than form or social pressures can measure.
