Unexpected Visitors – a poem

Abjuration of dire visitors drains

Moods meant, prepared in dichotomy

To receive what comes unexpected,

The conjuration of flame and fire;

Result from shocked claims irrefutable.

*

Lives lived with a stain of sin original

Abhor what might be mentioned, seen

In times more amiable than now, clean

Memories maudlin moving which dare

Mirrors to thus defy those claims irrefutable.
