Last Wish of Monsters – a poem

***

***We are obscene, a Black Gang

Married from necessity’s need

With eyes covered, hands crippled,

Ears and mouth plugged with old sin,

The steady sough of tired winds

Sighing.

*

The last wish of monsters is

To be followed by others,

Holding up mirrors to their sin,

Ugliness grown and in marrow bred,

Untenable thoughts reflected; masks

Slipping.
