Sky’s End – a poem

Division of earth and sea never

Can contain the sky, nor the tales

Told outside the Inner Circles deep

World’s End without roads, no sleep.

Blue green, the heavens wide yawn

Rolling realms skyward sunlit crawl

Filled with promise, tacit wonders

Lie between the wardens of dreams.

Sky’s End knows more than rainbows

Can or have ever told, lest caught

By ghosts or grand families, diamond

Teeth glint under the cloudy domes.

Dare we dream of those vaulted heights?

Stories fit to cause ocular implosions

High forests filled with dark angels

The myths tell less than they know
