Forced Familiarity – a poem

***

***

When the unfamiliar is forced

To become used to, too

Normalised for a wont to want,

The mind reels not, slides

Slow, fugue like, into state.

*

We ride in discordant rhythm

Down the hallways of resignation

Into small ravings of blazeways

Where assignation alights a’right

Along corridors of dream, visions

Vaunted to heights descendant deeper

Down.
