Devilish Decisions – a poem

Decisions to be made of a nature

Dual formed, separate and distinct,

Worlds apart and yet so similar

So that those worlds might collide

Within this.

*

Reasons why are manifold, multiple,

The empty deserts of emotion oft

Reviled, now a pale contrast

To Dualities barely perceived

To be seen.

*

Devilish choices like jewels lost

Down Satan’s navel in the rough dunes,

In that dark world beneath all,

Where choices made are lives sunk

In the deep.
